I just got back in from seeing Ghost Rider... alone. I must say I was pleased with the performance of the actors. The CGI was decent, above what I've read. It makes me want to think what these people were smoking when they wrote their reviews. You have to remember this is a comic book style movie. It's not going to be perfect story telling. They must make changes in the plot for the non-comic book reader to understand. I believe Ghost Rider did that. It made you laugh, it made you sad, it made you feel.

My only dislike for the movie was the choice of music. Man that sucked.

I didn't like it that much. I'm not some die-hard Ghost Rider fan, so my expectations weren't too high to begin with. But, I was expecting something a little less goofy. I'm surprised by the amount of campy humor implemented into the film. It seemed as if Mark Steven Johnson tried to make this film as kid-friendly as possible by tossing in a bunch of lame one-liners and forced comic-relief.

I will say that Ghost Rider's visual effects weren't that bad, but it doesn't really compensate for the film's lackluster story delivery, and cheesy dialogue. Overall, I would give Ghost Rider a 4/10.

I wasn't pleased with the kid-friendly part. Ghost Rider was never intended to be kid-friendly.

They should make more DC Comics-based movies. Maybe Green Lantern or something.

I don't know, Rex-Jay, I always thought that DC was kind of lame.

I'm looking forward to The Flash movie that's supposed to come out. He's pretty much the only DC Character outside of Superman and Batman that I actually enjoyed reading.
