I've been studying numerous dinosaur games and hunting games and decided that one thing Jurassic Park really needed was a hunting game. No not that DNA Factor crap! A good hunting game with at least an ounce of story is what the franchise needs.
Basically, the story is that, after the events of the third movie, the Costa Rican government ordered that Isla Sorna be cleansed of all living organisms: dinosaurs, trees, etc. The island is now a barren rock, with no evidence of anything having ever lived there. However, InGen had a stock of dinosaurs on a nearby island: Isla Muerte. Here, there was still a functioning top-secret facility. It was here that the dinosaurs were first developed. You see, on Isla Muerte, many years before the events of Jurassic Park (sometime in the early eighties), John Hammond originally wanted the Park to be set on Isla Sorna. However, the negociations with the German mining company who had owned Sorna failed. InGen then set out to look for a suitable island. They then, in the year 1990, found Isla Nublar. It was also by this time that the German mining company had left Sorna. Hammond was overjoyed with the thought of having two Jurassic Parks, one on Nublar and one on Sorna.
The original plan was to have it in a 90-10 spectrum. Nublar was planned to be 90 percent amusement and 10 percent production. Sorna was to be the other way around. John Hammond then thought that once that both islands had a suitable amount of exhibits, which would've been sometime between 1996-1999, he would release both islands as Jurassic Park Nublar and Jurassic Park Sorna. He figured that the Park would be so popular that one island wouldn't accomadate all the visitors. The events of the first movie took place, Site B was desolated by Hurricane Clarissa, InGen sends a failed expedition (on orders from Peter Ludlow) to export dinosaurs from the island, a woman named Anne crashlanded onto Sorna and eventually escaped, then the events in JP3 took place Isla Sorna was, as I mentioned above, cleansed of life. But what of the Isla Muerte facility?

Part 2

The year is 2002. Isla Sorna is now a wasteland, with no evidence of its former glory. The Costa Rican goverment has spent over 50 million US dollars to quash the story and any hope of it ever resurfacing. The truth about Isla Sorna will never come to light. Ever. But of that $50 million; only $10 million was actually used for news cover-ups. What happened to that other $40 mil? It was secretly directed towards funding of, unknown to all but InGen itself, the company's facility on Isla Muerte. John Hammond then had the opportunity direct all his attention on a single island, rather than three. This meant it can reach heights of discovery unprecendeted to the history genetics.
During this time, BioSyn was nearing bankruptcy; and its industrial espionage was about to be uncovered by the American government. As a last ditch effort, BioSyn had gathered a team of tactical, field, and scientific experts to journey to Muerte. The objective was to overthrow the Muerte facility (InGen's "Site A") and gather DNA from its dinosaurs, thereby destroying competition; and allow BioSyn to consider creating a park of its own. The team consists of: Harry Muldoon (the Ranger, younger brother of Robert Muldoon), Roland Tembo (Lethal Force, he wants revenge on InGen), and Anne Jones (the woman who had been already been to the island, she is now the Scout). The trio was then sent to Isla Muerte. Dodgson himself bid a farewell. "It all comes down to this," he said.

********************************************************************

They landed at Cathy's Beach and set out upon their mission; Harry loaded his tranq. pistol, Roland turned off the safety of his Desert Eagle, and Anne carefully surveyed the beach with her binoculars...

(end of intro)

This where the game would begin. BTW, I'm open to suggestions as far as the gameplay goes.

You can buy better hunting equipment as you progress thru the game.
For example:

Let's say you obtain DNA from a raptor egg which gives a bounty of X amount of money. With this you have a choice diffferent kinds of weapons and equipment you want to buy: like buying Roland a better gun/ more ammo, Harry more effective darts/ a tranq. rifle, getting Anne another stealth/recon tool, etc.

In the begininning of the game you would be able to choose between three different icons: Bullet (Lethal Force), Dart (Ranger), or Eye (Scout). Let's say you pick Bullet. In order to achieve its bonus, you must collect one egg from every species in the game, except for Compsognathus and Tassalodromeus. If you do this and you picked the Bullet, the next time you start a new game Roland will start out with a minigun and toxic rifle (rather than the relatively puny Desert Eagle)! The same sort of thing applies with the other two characters if you pick their respective 'marks'. Anne gets Invisibilty and Harry gets a Homing Tranq. Rifle.

There are different zones in the game spanning the entire surface of the island (most of which you will encounter more than once):
Swamps, Plains, Jungle, Woodland, and Compound. Of course, in each habitat, you will encounter different kinds of dinosaurs.

Swamps - the wetlandish tree-laden area:
-Dilophosaurus
-Hypsilophodon
-Leptoceratops
-Othneilia
-Ceratosaurus
-Protoceratops

Plains - a Jurassic Serengeti:
-Velociraptor
-Parasaurolophus
-Pachycephaolsaurus
-Mamenchisaurus
-Spinosaurus
-Styracosaurus
-Gallimimus
-Hypsylophodon

Jungle - Heavily forested with low visibilty:
-Carnotaurus
-Stegosaurus
-Maiasaura
-Protoceratops
-Coelophysis
-Compsognathus
-Leptoceratops

Woodland - Plenty of trees and rolling elevation:
-Tyrannosaurus Rex
-Triceratops
-Plateosaurus
-Edmontosaurus
-Therizinosaurus
-Compsognathus

Compound - the one-of-a-kind InGen facility, primarily urban:
-Pistol Guard
-Shotgun Guard
-Hunter w/ Toxic Rifle
-Jeep w/ Turret
-Tassalodromeus
