What's all this bullshit about effects, whatever happened to: plot, dialouge, characters, suspense, hell..story?
Look at the name of my topic, ofcourse we're going to talk about special and visual effects. If I was going to talk about the plot and dialogue in King Kong, I would have given the topic a different name. Though story is more important than any other aspect of the film, I just enjoy debating about all of the aspects of film-making because I'm a film geek. On that note, I'm starting up a new topic with more relevance to your post.
