Well for those of you who have clicked the ad on the top of this forum or on JPdb itself, thank you. And if you were paying attention to the changing links you would have probably noticed the link to the Serenity trailer, or if you have been to the movies recently.. such that as "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," you might have seen the trailer on the big screen. For those of you who have seen the trailer I'd like you to post your thoughts about it. If you haven't seen the trailer click the link above and shame, double shame on you.

"From the mind of Joss Whedon" Wow, talk about not getting me excited.

I saw Serenity at an advanced screening. I don't want to post spoilers so ask me whether or not anyone dies privately. /happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />

The cut I saw was mostly finalized, with the only things missing being some music and effects. Not being familiar with the series at all, I found it fairly easy to understand what was going on. Not a great movie but not bad, and probably much better for fans of the show.

Word. I have the ad at the top of the page blocked because Firefly doesn't interest me remotely, and boards with ads piss me off.

Joss Whedon's not so bad, you know. I never cared for Buffy or Angel, and didn't even know he was the creator of those shows when I first saw Firefly. I just got into the show because a few people I knew recommended it to me. So even if his previous works don't interest you at all, at least give Firefly a chance. Heck, I didn't even start really liking that show until a few episodes in.

Ads, psh. Jon just wants points so he can get free stuff from the Serenitymovie website.

I've given Firefly many chances, it doesn't want me.
