Disregarding JP3 altogether would be a huge mistake. If they're worried about the series being cheapened, that's sure as hell not showing it.

Of course, I don't expect them to at all.

He could disregard it and keep it in continuity of "Spielberg's Jurassic Park". I'm personally going to take my JP3 DVD out of the boxed set when JP4 is on DVD.

[quote author=Nagisa link=board=9;threadid=2070;start=0#msg30902 date=1057888488]
Okay, to be blunt, Spielberg's already said JP4 is going to be completely different from JP3, and there's talk that JP3 may even be disregarded from the continuity. Hell, if I had an out like that to get rid of an EYESORE like that goddamned Spinosaur of theirs, I'd take it. It's ruining JP's credibility as having "realistic dinosaurs" more than axing it would ruin the overall credibility of the franchise.

That, my friend, is called hipocracy. Jurassic Park never had realistic dinosaurs to begin with. Raptors, Dilos, Stegos. Just look at their sizes, let alone abilities.

Anyways, I refuse to vote. Put any dinosaur on te logo as long is it looks cool. Don't get your panties in a twist over a damn logo.

Megaraptor or Velociraptor. The raptor is,afterall, the deadliest dinosaur to walk on Jurassic Park.I allways thought that it should finally be on the logo, knowing that their going to end the series.

I mean, the Velociraptors could just be called Deinonychus and the obscenely long list of scientific inaccuracies attached to them would largely vanish, and the Dilo and Stego are a little easier to overlook because of their miniscule roles. Buuuuuut...no...there's no overlooking the "massive fucktard that Horner built."

But you do have a good point there. I mean, Stegosaurs bigger than T.rex? Venomous dinosaurs? Still more accurate than most dinosaur movies around, though. I mean...they at least got the Hadrosaurs, Brachiosaurs, and Ankys right.... :-

It seems as if he's having more involvement than he did with JP3, so therefore, I view as a part of it.

Hopefully it's enough involvement...

If you guys want it more realistic then they should also make the Trex not be able to run. I saw on the discovery chanle they now found out and prooved that the trex couldant run very fast at all that was his major flaw. and the reason he didnt last that long.

People just like the trex cuss he was the biggest and baddest looking off them all.

I mean look the main dino's people love are stegasurs, brachisarus ,brontasarus, triceratops, Trex, that big bird dino i forgot the name. And raptor

All but one are are the biggest off thier kind and thats why people like them the most. Or started liking them way back then, now that it has been going for along long time people only likle trex cuss thats what thier taught in school and stuff. Half of what you think the trex is and can do is wrong and has been prooved now.

I think the picture should still be a trex but only because it has been that forever
