I just can't imagine dinosaurs in the desert. The great think about the jungle is that it's dark and mysterious, but a desert is just way to wide open. You'd see the Tyrannosaurus/Velociraptor/Spinosaurus coming a mile away.

I think the jungle still has some life in it. I'm imagining raptors chasing a jeep or a truck, shredding the cloth top and sticking their heads through. Or maybe our heroes; holed up in an abandoned building, trying to find gas for said jeep or truck. Wait, this is starting to sound familiar...

The desert Idea is GAY!!!!! it is just flat out retarded! Jurassic Park wouldnt be Jp without the jungle! I will be extremely dissapointed if it were in the desert. What kinda crap is that!? I say that they get back into chaos theory and have biosyn and the original cast, no kirby's, no billy, no friggin gay stories!!!! Oh it would be cool to have it in an office building or lab or sumthin set in the middle of the jungle.

it should go back to the "theme park idea", like biosyn recreates Jurassic Park and it actually opens to the public and the dinos break out again b/c of some uncontrollable variable in the system. As long as it is a smart story, I'm good.

I love how people keep crying for something new, but then at the same time cry for a complete and utter repeat of the first two films with a T.rex/Spinosaurus rematch. Yeah, that's reeeeeally something new. :

You know, the Mesozoic wasn't all jungle, either. So why do dinosaurs (and consequently the films) have to be confined to that singular environment?

I dont want that gay desert idea....if you saw a previous post of mine, you'll see that I would want a story similar to the first Dino Crisis game. But no desert, that is just retarded. Yeah I want new, but not gay new.

Well, if you're wanting it to be like Dino Crisis, then that's not being very original either...that's just making a Dino Crisis movie under the JP banner.

[OOC: jp know-it-all, stop saying that everything's "gay". I find it offensive, and it makes you sound half your age.]

You know, I've always said, go back to the idea of the Lost World book. I think that's what should happen. On Sorna, minus uber-raptors, Spinosaurus, Kelly, and Eddie Carr, replacing Carr with Grant/Nick van Owen, or, hell, both of them. I doubt anyone would realize the difference between this and TLW, since only about 10% of the JP community has read the TLW novel, by the sounds of things.

I've always wanted to see Dino Crisis made into a movie ;D I'm just sayin that the jungle is needed and the story has to be good. Oh Nagisa, notice that I never said anything about it being original. If its too original, it might be to the point to where its just stupid and a cheap effort to please the public.

Oh and I'll say what I want, its a free country, but if you find it offensive, I'll stop.

yea, i understand the possible rehashing that Nagisa is mentioning, but i still dont like the desert, and ive still been able to think of more great scenes that fit the island's jungles, JPIV needs to utilize fog and darkness: these two things can be utilized in JPIV to make new scenes which are scary and suspenseful, and i realize that the fog was already used in JP3 but not up to my standards =) lol
