I'll just blurt out what I think is going on here. This place is nearly dead because it's no longer a place for all to come and enjoy being around other Jurassic Park fans (or even non-fans). Instead, all I have seen for the past two months is fighting and useless controversy. From the harassment of new members whenever they post, to users fighting staff, and even staff fighting staff. The point is: this place isn't fun anymore. There's a pressure here to behave in a certain narrow-minded way, and anything that doesn't meet that said expectation is, for some idiotic reason, to be destroyed in any way possible.

You know, this is a virtual world. There's no reason for a lot of the things I see going on between people. I swear people now come to the internet and try to be little shits because it makes them feel powerful. What kind of power do you call the ability to make a person feel like they're an outcast, or that their contributions mean nothing? Personally, I call it pathetic and weak. I never have lived to conform to another's world view, and I never will. I say that because the imposing of one's (or even a small group's) will upon others has been an ongoing theme lately and frankly, it disgusts me. Since when did we ever have to conform to someone else's expectations? Now, don't even try to turn this around on me in the attempt to undermine my position of authority, for moderation and administrative decisions are necessary and to have people with that power but unable to act is utterly pointless. Who died and allowed these people to run around telling me what I can or can't do that isn't a part of the forum's formal rules? Tell me. I dare someone to give me an answer that isn't asinine and full of false courage, or florid pseudo-intellectual language.

I'm simply sick of the cloak and dagger bullshit that's been pulled in recent months. As far as I'm concerned, I will take down anyone that attempts to pull against me what was pulled while Tyrannosaur was present. It's that simple. No tough words. No bullshit. GONE. Game Over. I don't play by anyone's rules so if any of you want to try me, go ahead and see where it lands you.

Additionally, I must address staff infighting. All of the staff needs to start communicating and quit acting on their own personal whims. No more divisions of this person is with this clique and this person is with those people and these people are trying to overthrow.....f*** THAT! It's time the staff held itself to a higher standard.

The stuff that had been going on is so akin to what happened at inGenNET that I'm beginning to hate the community as a whole for the moronic behavior of a few people. I've lost interest in the community because I see nothing but the same old sh*t and I thought most of us would've grown up a little by now.

It's not just because we're busy, or anything of the sort. It's us. We're forgetting how to treat each other.

Put simply: Some of us need to open our minds and stop trying to be smartasses to each other. Furthermore, the staff needs to be allowed to do it's job unhindered unless there is a grave miscarriage of justice. A consistent staff that acts as a cohesive unit would be nice as well. We've already lost several staff members and a number of users because of this and it needs to end.

This isn't a message to any one person. This goes for everyone from the newbies on up to the highest levels of staff.

Edit: Changed the wording. Don't like it? Tough noogies.

I guess we could all use a little attitude change about somethings around here. But I agree with the newbie bashing has gone to far. Any new person that come's here might be a little immature but that's ok they might be eight years old, and some people here act like they must spell at an high school level or leave. People can be immature to a point but we dont constantly need to make fun of them.
Also i've noticed that alot of members that ask question on subject's they know little about are often call names and made fun of for not knowing.

...I for one thought the fighting was fun. It brought a lot of life to the boards as well. But meh, to each his/her own I guess.
