Finally. Mayhaps this could be the first step in getting some of the other older Godzilla films over to the States in their original forms? /happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> One can hope, anyway...
By the way, any news on if Japan has anything special planned for the 50th anniversary? I heard they might try that "Current Godzilla vs. 1954 Godzilla's Ghost" idea again, but that was just an unfounded rumour.

I'm looking forward to AVP, that movie I think is gonna be awesome, defenitely not an epic but a thriller
BESIDES JPIV I'm looking forward to:
KING KONG the most!
Peter Jackson is going to make this movie an epic like noneother, Naomi Watts is on to star the lead and Rob DeNiro and George Clooney are being looked at for the lead male. I think King Kong is going to be one of the greatest movies of all time, the remake will be better than any other
Here's the report of the next japanese Godzilla movies, straight from the mouth of Toho Studios.
QUOTE Godzilla's 50 years of film production. Toho. December: It was announced Godzilla's 50th anniversary will be commerated next year with a super epic, THE GODZILLA (tentative title). Production costs, director and cast haven't been announced but reliable sources say the monsters and performers will be an all-star cast. In the Showa Age Godzilla was originally shown to the public. On Dec. 13th the latest work, Godzilla x Mothra X Mechagodzilla (dir. tezuka -Shown in Picture inset) was produced.
According to TOHO, the next work is in the final stages of development and will be a larger than usual production. The tentative title is in English because TOHO wanted to direct attention to the entire world. Overseas, they hope to attract attention with this work and the whole Godzilla series.[/quote]
Also next year I really want to see Van Helsing. It sounds like its gonna be pretty damn cool. Its coming out in May I think. From the same dude who wrote and directed the new Mummy movies.

I read a long while back over at ComingSoon! that there'll be some sort of lead at the end of the credits (a teaser or "TO Be COntinued"-like material) for Resident Evil (3): Afterlife...
I'm curious to see RE2 to see what they're doing with Nemesis...
I like the games, but the first movie wasn't what I was hoping.
The third of the thus far sorely disappointing prequel trilogy.

/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> I'm one of the most obsessive Star Wars freaks in the universe, but I just can't make myself like the prequels very much. I barely even care about Episode III anymore. It's sad, actually.
I'm looking forward to INDY 4! WOO!!! Let's see 62-year-old Harrison Ford fight those bad guys without breaking a hip! YEE HAH!
