I don't really think that any main characters should return for more than a cameo appearance because there is no way in hell that you could convince these people to go back to Isla Sorna, or Isla Nublar. Can you even think of a logical reason for Alan Grant to return?I know I can't.

DX! If the virus that the dinos carry starts infecting people, n the UN sets up a team to go to the island and retrieve blood n tissue as well as document, because the island will later be bombed Alan could go!!!??? =) and Malcolm!!!! =) ???? haha, the stakes would be higher if Lex went, cuz then Grant n Malcolm might feel morally obligated, I think if they knew eachother were going it could work too. So basically, i realy want Malcolm, Grant and Lex to return. I mean they're going for the good of mankind, to save lives on the mainland. anyways, thats how JPIV should be and i cant think of any other reason to go back to the islands

Some returning cast is alright, but I'd like to see some new faces as well, like Levine, or Thorne. Moreover, I want to see Cameron Thor reprise his role as Dodgeson so we can have the whole industrial espionage idea come back into play. It'd make the story a bit more dynamic, I think.

Also, if they use DX, I'd rather have the UN written out of the story. They could just go with Crichton's ideas from TLW.

Come on Crisco, you know that the whole DX plot line is probably a bunch of bull crap. It's been on the web for what? About a year and a half now? It's very unlikely that JPIV will have anything to do with the DX plot.

Why would the U.N. call in Grant or Malcolm anyways? They were only on Jurassic Park for about a week overall. So you can't exactly claim they have the experience to know how to deal with certain dinosaur species because they really don't. The most helpful advice they could give the U.N. is to tell them how to distract a t-rex with a flare. That's about it.

i don't mean thats what theyre GOING to do, i just thought thats the best idea. Yea, the U.N. prob wouldn't send Grant n Malcolm, but... =) just go with it...

maybe InGen cleverly hides the outbreak and sends their own team to find a cure before the government gets involved... and while the team, Grant Malcolm Lex, mercs, and doctors are on the island, the gov finds out n decides to blow up the island, but ofcourse our heroes make it out in time.

i dunno, i wana write a fanfic now. i really think the DX plot line can defenitely work. I thought for-sure that that was Speilberg's "great idea" o well

I've said it a billion times over already. They better not kill off the dinosaurs or the entire philosophy of the series will be destroyed. Besides I'd choose dinosaurs over people any day.

Crisco, after re-reading your comments, to me it sounds kind of like you mixed the DX plotline with my own fanfic plot I posted in the fanfic board.

I voted for Dr. Grant. Because he is really my favourite character of the hole JP frenchise. I liked his perfomance so much in JP and JP///.
