Ditto.
Cyclopsis Raptor wrote:And Koepp ain't nearly as bad as you keep making him out to be...I mean: he did assist on Jurassic Park. That wasn't very bad, was it?
Jurassic Park was good because of Spielberg's directing, the acting, the editing and the music. The dialogue was good in some parts, exceptional in others, but it isn't like this Koepp came up with this idea sitting on the can one day, he adapted it from a great novel. The dialogue was good because the dialogue in the book was good as well.

Koepp by himself didn't impress me with Secret Window. Especially for the "twist", if you can even call it that. He used every trick in the book that had been used thousands of times before so much that the twist wasn't even surprising.

There's a big difference between someone who writes a screenplay and someone who creates a story. Look at the movies Koepp has actually written the story for (Panic Room, Mission: Impossible and Snake Eyes). All pretty crappy movies in my opinion, save Panic Room because that movie was good due to Fincher's great directing style.

I imagine WotW will be good due to the directing, acting, editing and score. However, out of all the people on the crew, Koepp is not going to get any kudos from me because he hasn't really proved himself deserving of such praise.

i think he played well when he was casted as the 'unlucky bastard' to be honest /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> He died quite well i thought.

If this film works out to be half as good as the audio tapes make you think then its gonna be bloody brilliant.

Well... the movie is a remake. Why don`t you just see the old one.

It's not a remake of the movie, it's an adaptation of the book.

Sarcasm? I doubt that. You're from where? Georgia? Your last sig was a confederate flag, (which is a symbol bigotry by itself) your current sig is a kkk one, but you claim that you're not a racist? Bullshit. What are you going to have as your next sig? A swastika?

You know what the worst part about it is? No one else here even cares, but me. I'm probably the only black person on this board. But why should you guys even care? He's not offending any of you. You censor profanity here, but no one raises an eyebrow at a kkk sig. I didn't want to end my stay here with bitterness, but this is infuriating. See you guys.

Pack Raptor out.

Wow..don't get so tempered about something you don't understand.

And before you call up the NAACP..I gots somethin to tell you.

A) My rebel flag signature was a tie-in to a story I am writing about the Civil War.
B) It was never meant as offense..and it even used to read (long ago) "For History, not hate."
C) Quit being so damn stereotypical
D) I did the KKK thing just so someone would go bezerk over it..and I could laugh heartily at them
and E) If you get offended at a bunch of electrons behind a piece of glass..then you have problems.

People getting offended by symbols doesn't matter in real life or on a computer screen. A symbol (especially one that can be found offensive to some) transcends all mediums and can still have an affect on people. Even you.
