The Island of Copycats
D'oh. The makers of a 1979 movie called Parts: The Clonus Horror have sued the studios behind The Island, alleging that the plot of the Michael Bay bomb was taken from their movie. Let's see … Clonus is about clones raised for spare organs who are told that they'll get to go to a utopia called "America." One clone manages to get out and is hunted down. All right, now you make up your mind. (Variety)

I love those films. I read a Simpsons spoof of the idea in a Simpsons comic book where Bart and Milhouse make comments about a McBain film.Jurassicpuff wrote:For anyone who doesn't know, Mystery Science Theater was a great show where this guy and two robots made funny comments while watching stupid movies. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
Anyways yeah the Island sounds like Logans Run (a good film and also spoofed in the Simpsons).
