But when you hear it again and again in later scores it's loses something...B.JB wrote:To be honest, I thought Zimmer's score for The Rock was superb.Luke Skywalker wrote:The JP trailer has the JP theme from John Williams.TimMurphyRockz wrote: Actually the theme used in the trailer wasnt' composed by John Williams, but by another composer, I think it was Hal Zimmers, I was shocked when I found out that Williams wasnt' the one who had composed it. I was thinking that whoever did compose BackDraft (name of the song) should compose for JP IV if Williams chooses not to come back.
Backdraft was used in The Lost World one. Using music from another movie is very common in trailers. And yes, it is by Hans Zimmer. And avoid him when you can /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> .
Do you know what synth music is? That's what would get JPIV if Zimmer scored it. Ah, and the action music that would be there you already have heard it: Backdraft, The Rock, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc...
Zimmer's music is not bad, but his usage of keyboards and make real orchestras sound like they are not ( i dont know how he manages to do that...) ruins it all...
There are many talented composers out there that could do JPIV. I would choose Michael Giacchino first, since he can emulate Williams' very well, and secondly i would choose Don Davis, whose music from JPIII was enjoyable. But if Williams wants to do it, i dont have a problem with that /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
Luke, a Williams fan...
Anyway i am Williams biased /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
