I was thinking that whoever did compose BackDraft (name of the song) should compose for JP IV if Williams chooses not to come back.
The JP trailer has the JP theme from John Williams.

Backdraft was used in The Lost World one. Using music from another movie is very common in trailers. And yes, it is by Hans Zimmer. And avoid him when you can /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> .

Do you know what synth music is? That's what would get JPIV if Zimmer scored it. Ah, and the action music that would be there you already have heard it: Backdraft, The Rock, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc...

Zimmer's music is not bad, but his usage of keyboards and make real orchestras sound like they are not ( i dont know how he manages to do that...) ruins it all...

There are many talented composers out there that could do JPIV. I would choose Michael Giacchino first, since he can emulate Williams' very well, and secondly i would choose Don Davis, whose music from JPIII was enjoyable. But if Williams wants to do it, i dont have a problem with that /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Luke, a Williams fan...
To be honest, I thought Zimmer's score for The Rock was superb.
But when you hear it again and again in later scores it's loses something...

Anyway i am Williams biased /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

I'm not going to quote you, however I think this sort of discussion should be given a topic of it's own elsewhere...http://www.jpdatabase.com/forum/index.php?...ST&f=18&t=28744

i was watching the trailers and i noticed something. in the JP and TLW, they show partial shots of the dinosaurs: some shots it's just sounds, others it's a part of the dinosaur, others are just a quick shot for about a second. for the new and redone dinos, they didn't show a lot(quick shot of the Compy's and the game trail), but they showed a lot of quick shots of the T-Rex(partial shots). then in JP3, they did a little of that for the Spino, but then they show a lot of Raptor shots, full shots, some for a few seconds. for the Spino there was the sail, the foot and a few quick full shots. and for the raptors they basically showed you everything they changed about them.

also, the first two portray a summarized story to you(not the causes of the chaos) but then JP3 just showed a lot of action shots. for JP3 it looked like Dr. Grant was on a vacation tour or something and they flew into a Spino(although yes i know he's not supposed to know the real purpose).
