I think its just think its an humanoid that originated in Africa and took a different evolutionary path. :

first off if there is a big foot it would be classed as a hominad, just like us. And physically evolving from Africa is impossible. It wasn't even in the fossil in america or africa at the time the bering strait connected to asia. If it evolved there would have been some proof by now

why woudnt they hunt it? if they killed it the person will get lots of money for discovering a new spieces of ape like creature that might of been us but havent evolved for umm 1 million years?

you know, I can hear trains leaving for the real world every half hour...

uhhh...no, Spino.

If a person shot bigfoot he'd recieve zero dollars and instead land himself sometime in prison. I'm not sure if you realize this or not, but the wildman man of the woods is on the most endangered species list.
