New scene! A Tyrannosaurus Rex stalkes a herd of Triceratops. One of the Trikes notices and turns to the offenes. The rex blokes the Trike with
his foot, but the Trike stabes him in the leg, but misses the bone. The Rex
takes advantage of the Trike's exposed back, and breaks it!

I probly should've explanied it better /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> . You see, the T-rex stuck his
foot on the Trike's head. But the Trike shrugs it off and stabs him in the
leg (missing the bone.) The rex bites down on the Trike's back and pulls
his leg off the Trike's horn. The Trike's head was down, so his back was exposed.
That help?

hmmm...
it doesn't seem logical that:
1. the Rex would step on the Trike's face
2. the other Trike's didn't help out
3. the Rex broke the Trike's back?
4. these dinos could move that fast
gotta stay scientifically correct /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
but i like the idea of Rex vs. Trike...although i'm not sure how it would play an important part of the story /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

How about the Trike charging the Rex and breaking his beak in the process, and, while the Trike heads back to the herd in pain, the Rex lumbers to the closest carcass and starts to chew? Now that's accuracy! /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
J/K. The T-Rex could kill animals with his jaws, knowing how powerful they are. The Trike could also stab it's enemy from close range without ever charging at it.

To SSJDinoTycoon42:Well, the Trike would be grazing about sevrel hundered feet away
from the main herd.

QUOTE stalkes a herd of Triceratops. One of the Trikes notices and turns to the offenes[/quote]
this implies that it was with the herd and broke off to defend against the threat. if one of them notices a threat, he/she would notify the others and they would all gather around to ward off the predator
if you mean that the one that notices was already separated, then he/she would probably retreat to the rest of the herd.
herbivores tend to stick together when a predator comes by
