These guys should realize that a good expansion pack will increase the popularity of this game a ton. The game itself is good, but I can think of 1,000 things that could be added, and some bugs that could be fixed. If tons of people sign the petition, you could send it to Blue Tongue.

I've signed it...what...twice...I can't sign it anymore.
None of my friends will, they can't be bothered.

Stop think just about PC users, it's not fair to mod ONE version of it.  /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />
My apologies, but having an expansion pack for a console game I just don't think is possible because an expansion pack functions off of a previous installation of the game that is stored on the hard drive of your computer so that means for consoles that the game doesn't install any files or drivers on console systems. If an expansion did come out it would have to be for PC users unless they remake the game entirely for X-Box and PS2 users, which they probably wouldn't because it would be too costly. An expansion or a modification requires to be an "add-on" to installed files on a hard disk drive. For example, Starcraft and Starcraft Brood Wars, Doom 3 and Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil, Aliens versus Predator 2 and Aliens versus Predator 2: Primal Hunt all require installations of their engine in order to run. Plus I was stating CEP as an alternative if the Expansion Pack isn't made for those who can't wait for the expansion pack or if the expansion isn't made.

How many Signatures do we need to make it a decent effort for a petition?

They'd have too, cause there isn't any way i'de buy the PC version when I already have the PS2 version.
Plus, many more people bought it for x-box and ps2 than they did for the PC, beleive me, everyone I know doesn't have it for the PC. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

20,000. Uh, anyone know any good petition signing software. I mean you know, over a couple of days a large group sign it a couple hundred times at random intervals and them keep doing. But we have to make sure they don't know what we are doing. I would gladly keep signing it if it means they release an expansion pack.

Even if they did, how would they improve on it? aside from a bigger island, not much to do....
They could have flying and smimming dinos in it...or there be a mode where you could control a dino, or be a ground person out of the cars.....

intially there were planned dino vets, alternate feeding systems, the double of the dinos, swimming and flying reptiles, sexual dimorphism, reproduction, petting zoos, genome modifiers, stadiums, the list GOES on, yet this game WILL NOT have an expansion, we at Modding Genesis have e-mailed BTS enough times to have figured that bit out. It is a lost cause, that's the reason for the Community Expansion Pack (aka CEP), we gather and release the best mods that the community creates.

....and sadly you cannot mod the PS2 or X-box versions.
About 40% of the JP: OG gamers are console gamers, therfore they will be missing out on everything new.
And people like me, have parents who will NOT let them get the PC version.

that is indeed a sad thing, yet we can't do anything about it, when I bought it, I had always in mind the PC version, its quality is as good as any other version and has the plus of being modable, besides a sim-like game is best played in pc's.
