I voted for the original. I love it. And how can you beat the original idea, which is the strongest and most exciting to build a movie about? It always bugged me when people would say the movie had no plot. Dinosaurs have been re-created, a bunch of people go to the island, the dinosaurs break free. That IS the plot! The question is, how well is it done? The answer is, wonderfully.

The Lost World doesn't really have anything to run on, in my opinion. It certainly isn't as grand an idea as the original, it can't be. But I just feel like it's weak and dreary and has no spark, and it's too action oriented. It just doesn't work for me, and the ending in the city, yuck.

JP3...don't get me started. It was like watching a Saturday morning cartoon.
