At this point, I really doubt that JP4 will ever be released. It's going to end up like Ghost Busters 3, just an idea that never took off the ground. Which I guess wouldn't be a bad thing. Jurassic Park is a franchise that's been milked too much. What else can be done with dinosaurs chasing people?

I still think there is a small chance it will be made. If it is ever green-lit to go into production, I don't think it will hit theaters by 2006. More like summer 2007, or summer 2008. It would be just too little time to try and get JP4 done by 2006 right now. Especially considering that they don't even have a script yet, or a pre-production crew.

Alot of factors are going to dictate whether there will be a fourth JP. I'm pretty sure they're going to set up JP4 ready to be made, but will not actually put the film into production until the studio needs a financing boost or revenue raise. Quite simple, the JP franchise has become this- a sure fire box-office hit no matter what. Spielberg will say this isn't the case if JP4 goes into production, but the deciding factor will be- does the studio NEED a JP4?

There WILL be a 4th JP! Besides, the Pteranadons flying off in 3 was a setup for 4.
