If Jurassic Park ever happened....

Could Jurassic Park ever really happen? How much of what you saw in Jurassic Park can be considered real? Discuss all of that and more here...

lol thats good.

I'm also like the only one in my school who is interested in Dinosaurs... I just don't get it. They're so amazing. And because I love Dinosaurs, they think I'm some sorta nerd. I don't like it. At least I've got an interest other than gossip, though.

ehh...just stick with your own thing and forget about them

now then...more scientific stuff to talk about....

...hmmm...

If Jurassic Park ever happened...how would we keep the government from exploiting the dinosaurs?

(i'm not sure if we talked about this already but i haven't reviewed all 10 pages of this topic)

mmmhmm, Yeah you should. Ignore them, they aren't as educated as you when it comes to dinosaurs...

How about... an undergound base... lol.
Nah, I'd say you'd have to have an island...

well, the hand of the government can reach over large distances. whichever government controlled the production of the dinosaurs and/or park might still do something for its own benefit.

or whoever does all this(not necessarily a government)

save the dinosaurs!! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

anyway uh...let's see...

what kind of fence could really keep the dangerous dinosaurs at bay?

Geez... thanks.

Yeah, it's obviously geoing to be an island that the Dinosaurs will adapt to. Just need very high security, and plenty of space to keep the Dinosaurs happy.

Like you, I haven't looked over the last ten pages much either, so i don't know if this has been discussed: it probably most definitely has. But i do know this:

Dinosaurs closest' living relatives are birds. So the most logical creature to work with would be the largest type of bird - supposedly an ostrich. So once we get hold of DNA from both a male and female Dinosaur of the same species, scientists might try injecting it into an ostrich egg. Then, when they hatch, all the chicks would be ostriches, but some, with luck, would kinda have some Dinosaur cells. like Dino s** cells or something. Is that right? Make any sense? You've probably already heard about that, anyway. It's quite common.

i think that was a suggestion on a place where the government wouldn't touch them...but i dunno bout that

well, i was actually here to read all the pages(i think i was here when it started) i just haven't gone back to read it again

that most definitely was talked about before, but we can't think about that until we actually find DNA. so we have to worry about that first.

True. But it's pretty obvious we won't find it in amber.

Im pretty out of ideas about that, but minute traces of DNA may still exist in some fossilized Dinosaur bones, I know that. If only we had some way to identify which and then extract it.

point is...hasn't been found, so we can't jump to the eggs yet

amber would only work if there was a piece of flesh. the mosquito's stomach juices would destroy the blood.

i'm still unsure if they disproved the bone DNA or not

I guess only time will tell, but we've still got theories.

I totally agree with you about the amber situation, though. If only Dinosaurs were preserved in amber... or maybe parts of them, like some flesh. That would be so hard to find.

Okay, I know that would never work and that it is completely weird, but it is a suggestion.
