Whoah, Dino Slayer, it's good to see that you're still enthusiastic about this, but that outline is too much for one screen play. It's like you combined the TLW novel, the rumored DX JP4 plot line, and the John Sayles draft all into one.Which is a combination that seems like it could confuse the hell out of people over the course of a 2 hour film.If you can pull it off without it confusing anybody, then I applaud you.

Ah, now I'm starting to sound like a jerk, great. Listen, I'm tired right now but I do want to give some helpful ideas later on.

I seriously hope that people still show interest in this because I've seen too many fan productions fail because of it. Come on! Don't give up.

As for the script, I'll make it simple enough so everyone will understand it. Here's the next part. Sorry, no dinosaurs here.

5. INT. LEVINE'S HOME - DAY 5.

The camera moves through the corridor and into Levine's living room, where he has placed his two suitcases. Levine is in the kitchen, reading one of his old newspapers sporting a blurry photo of a Pteranodon in the frontcover.

LEVINE: I will find you soon, my scaly friend.

He smiles widely and sips his last remaining coffee down his throat. He packs the newspaper to his coat and walks to the living room.

Levine heads to his front door with his two suitcases and turns the handle. He opens the door and immediately bumps into Arby and Liz, who are standing outside the door, just about to ring the doorbell. He stares at them with a surprised expression.

LEVINE: What the hell are you guys doing here?

Both Liz and Arby carry large backbags.

LIZ: Listen, Doc...........

LEVINE: Seriously! You scared the turd out of me. Aren't you supposed to be studying in the school? And what the heck are you doing with those backbags? *Arby tries to speak but gets interupted* Wait........... Dont tell me you're trying to tag along?

LIZ: Sorry, Doc, but we can't let you go there alone. You're not the only one who has read about those incidents.

LEVINE: Kids, kids, kids........

ARBY: Sorry, Doc, but we're not kids anymore.

LEVINE: Okay............ Guys, I think I can handle myself quite well enough.

ARBY: No, Richard. I don't think you understand. You're our favourite teacher. It wouldn't be fair if something happened to you. We're coming along.

LEVINE: But........what are your parents going to say?

LIZ: Dad? Hes elsewhere with his girlfriend. And the house has been taken care of.

ARBY: I even have my own apartment. I've been away before. We're coming with you. Who knows how studying dinosaurs could affect my final grade.

LEVINE: But...............what do I say to your parents if something happens?

ARBY: And what should we do if you died? Stand still?

Levine is quiet for a moment, not knowing what to say. He suddenly smiles again.

LEVINE: The way you care makes me proud. I'm speachless. Okay. Come inside.

Levine steps back inside the house, followed by Arby and Liz.

A map is spreaded on the table, the cross marked in the spot close to Honduras. The two stare at it in fascination as Levine points at the marked spot.

LEVINE: This is the part of Central America where most of the reports are coming from. I have found out through a source of mine that there is something strange going on in there. I got especially interested from a rumour about many local people either disappearing without a trace or getting arrested by officials after a few sightings.

ARBY: Why were they arrested?

LEVINE: My source said that it had something to do with illegal drugs. It's strange because even though Honduras is not too far away from Cuba, the well known drug capital, there were very little drug crimes in that particular region before the arrests. My theory is that those people knew something and someone got rid of them before they spilled their beans. They seem to protect something. So I want to remain as much undercover as possible, so don't you ever tell anybody about what we're doing in there. We will get to that region from San Antonio. There may be some hiking involved. We may be able to even get a glimpse of all the beautiful views there.

LIZ: So, what do you think we'll find?

LEVINE: I'm not certain.

LIZ: So, thats it?

LEVINE: Yep.

The camera slowly zooms to the cross in the map and the scene changes.

6. EXT. CENTRAL AMERICA - DAY 6.

The camera pans over the lush green forest. A few colourful parrots enter the screen in mid-flight.

The village of San Antonio. Levine's group is heading through the mass of local people. Arby wipes sweat from his face with the palm of his hand.

ARBY: It's bloody hot in here.

LEVINE: Wait till we get to the rainforest. Then you'll really get the picture of what it's like to live in here.

Levine stops next to an empty building and turns around to face his companions.

LEVINE: I have arranged a transport to take us inland. My contact told me to meet him in this village so he'd be able to take us to the local airport. If we're lucky we should be in our planned destination in twenty-four hours.

LIZ: Where is he supposed to be waiting?

LEVINE: He owns a store a couple of blocks away. He has had it since the end of the 80's, so he knows basically the whole place and all it's stories. His name is Pablo Martinez.

ARBY: Well, sounds like a nice guy.

LEVINE: I've known him for ten years now. Trust me, everything is going to go as planned. There's nothing to worry about.

They move on, down the street, not knowing that their every move is being watched. A man who pretends to be reading the local newspaper secretly eyes the three, wearing black sunglasses over his eyes. We get a glimpse of his I.D patch that has a small green logo with the name Biosyn Inc. labeled on it. The man gives a signal to his mate, who is farther away, and then follows them.

Just take your time and read what I have posted so far. If you still want to propose ideas I'm all open for them.

Just got to write the part where Levine learns the truth about the planned genetic tampering and, I got to say, I'm excited! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

The next part:

7. INT. PABLO'S STORE - DAY 7.

Levine enters the store and looks over to the counter where a very tanned man is just finishing with a customer. As the customer leaves the man looks over to the door and sees him. However, instead of smiling, his face turns very serious. Levine walks up to him as Arby and Liz start looking at the shelves.

LEVINE: How's it going, Pabby?

PABLO: What are you doing here, senór?

LEVINE: What do you mean? I'm here to seek that location..........

PABLO: Senór, you really shouldn't be here. It's dangerous.

LEVINE: What are you talking about, Pablo?

PABLO: Senór Levine, they know. They know about your plans.

LEVINE: You mean there really are some people behind this?

PABLO: Richard, they tracked our phonecalls. They must have traced them somehow. And they will be looking for you now that you're here. Trust me. They have been in my store.

LEVINE: My God...........

PABLO: You have to get out of here as soon as possible. You have to get back to Berkeley before it's too late.

LEVINE: No, I'm afraid it's already too late, Pablo. Listen. I have to get to the airport. We made a deal.

PABLO: Can't do that, senór Levine. They'd catch you before you got even close.

LEVINE: We'll, what the hell am I supposed to do?! Just stand here and wait for them to arrive?!

PABLO: You can still escape if you listen to my advice.

LEVINE: Pablo, I have to get there.

PABLO: Senór! You know I can't do that! We have to get you out of here.

CUT TO:

The men looking for Levine arrive next to the store. One of them pulls out his gun and hides it under his jacket.

MAN: Get ready to enter. And remember, we want them alive. Especially Levine.

The other men nod. The man gives the signal and they enter the store.

CUT TO:

Pablo looks over to see them arrive. He quickly grabs Levine and pulls him over the counter. Levine grunts in surprise and tries to speak, but Pablo covers his mouth.

PABLO: *whispering* Stay quiet, Richard, or we're all in trouble.

Pablo gets back up just as one of the men walks over to him. Pablo fakes a smile as the man stares at him with a nasty look in his face.

PABLO: How can I help you, senór Nivola?

NIVOLA: I will only ask this once, you mexican bastard. Where are they?

PABLO: You mean sénor Levine and his two friends? He just went to look for some canned salami. We also have some other food products in discount today. It only costs.......

NIVOLA: Shut up, Martinez! You're lucky that you still have your store. *turns to his fellow men* What are you standing there? Go look for them. Stun them when you find them. And don't let them escape.

The man turns at Martinez and stares at him angrily for a moment before walking after his agents.

Pablo sighs loudly as Levine slowly gets up from his position, looking at the man, who now has his back on them.

LEVINE: *whispering* Jesus Christ. Arby and Liz are still in there.

We see Arby and Liz hiding behind a shelf as one of the men walks past them, holding a small tazer in his hand, searching for them. They slip behind another shelf when he has his back turned on them, unnoticed. Arby looks around him nervously.

ARBY: *whispering*What kind of a mess has Richard gotten us into?

LIZ: *whispering*I have no idea, but we still have to get out of here before they find us.

Another one of the agents is now heading closer to them, his tazer pointed forward, ready to knock them unconscious at the first sight.

The man hears a noise as something rolls across the floor. He looks down and sees a can of spam rolling past his feet. He heads to the direction it came from. He reaches the last shelf and looks around him. He sees nothing.

MAN: Who the heck did that?

Liz and Arby are laying under the shelf, the agent's feet right next to them. The man looks around him again.

AGENT: Stop playing and come out before we seek you out! We have you surrounded! There's no point to hide!

Liz kicks at the man's feet with all her strenght, making him trip. The agent, surprised by the attack, hits his head to the hard floor and blacks out. As the teens scramble out from under the large shelf Arby leans over the knocked out man and grabs his tazer.

LIZ: What are you doing?

ARBY: We may need this. It's better to have atleast something for defense against these guys.

LEVINE: *whispering again*Bzzzzt! Guys! Over here!

The two look to their right and see Levine and Pablo behind a wooden backdoor, opening it just enough to see them. They both run over to the men and Pablo locks the door. Arby stares at Levine with a questioning look on his face.

LIZ: Richard. Who are these guys? You said that there were only a few arrests.

LEVINE: I'm afraid that we've stumbled upon something very important. Whoever these people are they are looking for me. And now for you as well. I'm sorry that I got you into this.

ARBY: It's alright.

LEVINE: No, it's not alright!

Levine pauses and sits on a plastic beer box.

LEVINE: I got you two into trouble only because I'm a selfish fool who tries to make a name for himself. I never care about the risks and always think too far ahead. I used to be a paleontologist. I even used to be a good one, like Grant. But then I lost my wife and became a drunken monkey. I never wanted to dig again. But I got some of my life back after the Nublar accident. I became fascinated by that park and it's real, breathing dinosaurs. I wanted to see them in flesh. I wanted to be the first one to find their new hiding place. And now I'm in serious trouble. And you're in the same soup with me.

Liz and Arby both watch him staring at the floor. A single tear rolls across Liz's face.

ARBY: It wasn't your fault, Doc. None of it was. You just wanted to live again. Everyone wants to live once in their life. You're still our favourite teacher. I mean it.

Arby walks up to Levine and hands the tazer to him.

ARBY: I stole this from one of them. It may be useful.

Pablo comes back to them in a horry and speaks nervously.

PABLO: You have to go now. They will demand to search through the rest of my store soon. You can't waste any more time.

Pablo then turns towards Levine.

PABLO: Richard. You wanted to get to that location. We'll I got news for you. I know a close friend who can get you there.

LEVINE: Really? Who is it?

PABLO: His name is Enrique. He's a guide who happens to know some of that area. You'll be safe with him. You can find him from the large hut next to the bar named Ururuku. Tell him that I sent you.

LEVINE: Thanks, Pablo. You're still a great friend.

Levine pats him to the shoulder as they head out of the store.

8. INT. UNKNOWN FACILITY - DAY 8.

A man wearing the typical personnel suit is walking down a hallway lit with greyish light. He is carrying a bucket full of meat, whistling a Beetles song. Another man is with him, holding a tazer in his hand.

They reach a large door that has metallic labels saying "DO NOT TOUCH! HIGH VOLTAGE! ONLY TO BE OPENED BY PERSONNEL!". There is a plastic panel located next to it. The man holding the tazer types in a code as they stop next to the door. He then steps aside as a green light goes off above it, making the giant door slowly slide up towards the ceiling. There is an enormous concrete space right behind it. The men get inside. An air shattering roar greets them as they reach the enclosure.

WHISTLING MAN: Time to feed, little Rexy.

Opening before them is a pit over ten meters deep. And at the bottom of it is a large juvenile TYRANNOSAURUS, roaring with tremendous sound as it sees them.

TAZER MAN: Jesus fricking Christ. That thing gives me goosebumps.

The man holding the bucket throws the meat into the pit and the T-Rex grabs one of the cow legs to it's mouth in mid-air, crunching down on it hungrily.

WHISTLING MAN: You fascinating being.............

TAZER MAN: Come on, Alf. I want to get away from it.

WHISTLING MAN: Chill out, man. It's not going to hurt us. It's actually quite intelligent to be a giant theropod. Can see it's prey in stereoscopic vision and judge things well. No wonder it once ruled it's environment.

TAZER MAN: Whatever. Let's go.

They head back towards the sliding door. The tazer man exits first.

The man holding the now empty bucket takes one step before he is suddenly grabbed violently by a man sized creature coming from off-screen. The man yelps in surprise when two arms with three long claws dig deep into his chest. The man screams as the creature pulls him back into the enclosure area. The tazer man turns quickly around to see it dragging him behind the wall as the door slams shut.

TAZER MAN: Alf!!!

9. INT. THE BOATHOUSE 9.

A large, black man carries a package of bottled water, puts it on a pile of wooden blanks and turns around.

MAN: So, Pablo sent you, you say?

Levine is leaning on the large door of the boathouse. Liz and Arby are checking all their equipment farther away. The man named Enrique moves over to get another package.

ENRIQUE: *laughes* He really does know who to turn upon. A great man. Even knows all the stories of the villagers.

LEVINE: All we want is that you'll take us there. You'll get your payment when the job is done.

ENRIQUE: Going that far inland is risky. If one of you gets ill or bitten by a bug or a snake, getting to a hospital may take a long while. You would also need a lot of supplies.

Enrique places the water next to the first package. Levine wipes off a fly from his face.

LEVINE: Yes, I do know the risks involved here, but it's important for me to get in there. We'll walk to the ocean if we have to.

Enrique laughes at Levine's final comment and lifts up another package of water.

ENRIQUE: I've been a guide for a long time now. One thing that I've learned after all the time spent here is also the biggest rule in this environment. Always come prepared. The last thing I want is people dying with me being the guide. And I don't want you to be the first one.

LEVINE: Well, there are some complications.

ENRIQUE: What kind?

LEVINE: I'm not sure if I can tell you.

ENRIQUE: I have to know everything if you want me to lead you anywhere. Unclear plans are a bad way to start a hike. Especially in such a demanding terrain.

LEVINE: Let's just say that I got some enemies here.

Enrique laughes again. He turns around, walks up to Richard and stops in front of him.

ENRIQUE: Alright. I'll take you there. If someone doesn't want you here it would be inappropriate to disappoint them.

LEVINE: Great. When can we go?

ENRIQUE: Immediately when you are ready. If that place is so important I guess I have to help you, knowing that you're Pablo's friend.

Enrique turns his back to Levine and walks back towards the packages. He suddenly stops and speaks again.

ENRIQUE: There is one more thing I have to ask.

LEVINE: Go ahead.

ENRIQUE: What is so special in a area that consists of nothing but thick jungle? I've been there before and haven't seen anything besides swarms of biting insects.

LEVINE: All I can say that there are animals of my particular interest.

ENRIQUE: I see.

Enrique walks away and mumbles.

ENRIQUE:*in Spanish* Scientists. They're all the same breed...............

10. EXT. JUNGLE - EVENING 10.

We see Levine's group heading through the rainforest, Enrique in the lead, using his large machete to cut down the biggest vines. Arby eyes the vegetation around him, slapping large mosquitos from his face.

ARBY: I already hate this place. These bugs are killing me.

LIZ: Here.

She pulls out a small tube from her pocket and throws it to him. Arby catches it while simultaniously smacking at another insect.

LIZ: Spread it on your face and hands. It keeps them from biting you.

ARBY: Thanks.

ENRIQUE: I'd keep moving if I were you, young man.

Arby looks down and jumps back as a large spider crawls past his feet. He then quickly follows the others.

CUT TO:

The group takes a break and Levine sits down to a large rock that is sticking from the ground, wiping his face from the sweat. Arby pulls out a sandwich from his backbag and smells it. He then throws it away in disgust.

ARBY: I guess I'll remain hungry then.

Enrique eyes the forest, thinking. He then turns and walks up to Levine. Enrique sits next to him and takes a gulp from his water bottle.

ENRIQUE: So, Mr. Levine, what animals are you exactly looking for?

Levine is quiet for a moment.

LEVINE: Dinosaurs.

Enrique is also quiet for a few seconds before he starts to laugh again.

ENRIQUE: So you believed Pablo's stories.

LEVINE: I think we both know that hes right. There has been several attacks.

ENRIQUE: Didn't say that I don't believe him. Some people from my village have heard sounds.

LEVINE: What kind of sounds.

ENRIQUE: All they could say is that the sounds terrified them. They never got the nerve to find the source.

LEVINE: Have you heard sounds?

ENRIQUE: Me? No. I was only there before people started reporting about them. I haven't been in that area since. This is my first time in six years.

Enrique gets up.

ENRIQUE: I'll see what I can find from the forest so the young man can eat. It's getting late. We'll set up a camp here for the night.

Enrique walks off as Levine takes out the map and stares at the cross marked in it.

LEVINE: Almost there............

He puts the map back inside his backbag.
