I know he's doing some movie about a hostage situation that happened during the Olympics about 20 years ago. I don't know exactly what he'll do after that. But even if he has no other film projects planned, I still think Spielberg will leave JP4 alone.

If Spielberg does have a hand in the making of JP4, he'll be the executive producer. He's not going to direct. What would he gain from it?

That sucks... he should be DIRECTING instead..., whenever he does, he puts a bit of his magic into movies, and then they usually become BOX OFFICE HITS...

The way I see it, you should be more concerned about John Sayles' re'write than who's directing. It doesn't really matter who directs if the script is crap. So I'm hoping that John Sayles will prove us wrong and make a great screenplay. Or they hire a new writer.

Yeah, Steven Speilburg really does put magic into his movies...!
But you're right, we should also worry about the Script writer and all too...
