Super Predators?

We are far from Super Predator, we are just as much predator as we are prey. There is no &quot;higher&quot; status for a predator, just because you can hunt almost anything you want doesn't make you &quot;Super&quot;, Super Predator is just another &quot;imaginitive&quot; idea, almost as bad as the Super Predator Spinosaurus. A better term used scientifically for predators who usually are the most successful are terms like &quot;The most dominant predator&quot;. <br /><br />Until it becomes a scientifical term, it is nothing.

I'll just point out that the food chain is a fantastical concept that has nothing to do with real life.

do you know what symbolism is? Symbolism is when you compare one thing to another to clarify a concept. Great writers and poets use this all the time (Ever read The Pearl by John Steinbeck?). I was comparing the way we attack each other and how others "feed" off of one another to gain social statius, pride, etc. etc. etc.

You do not need to lecture me on the food chain or the food web. I knew what you were talking about, i am not a fool. But again i was comparing. Many people say phrases that link themselves to the animal kingdom. Ever hear of the expression "strong as an ox"? Or how about "as sly as a fox". Course they are similies not metaphors

T-Rex was the dinosaur super-predator, great white shark is the ocean super-predator, tiger is the land super- predator.
