Jurassic Park db forum

With JPDB staying open yet another year and an exciting one that. We have decided to redesign the site sort to speak. Jon showed me a design tonight that is just Phenomenal. It is wonderfully done.
We decided to take JPDB back to its origional roots and give it more of a relaxing contemporary design. One that you will surly enjoy. In the plans is also a new poll section along with quotes. The site design will also take you to the old and best JP film the origional Jurassic Park graphical designs.

Now is your chance to pipe in what types of ideas you would like to see. So voice your opinion for Ver 9. Is by far the best design for JPDB that I have seen yet.

Are we suggesting things for the layout or actual sections of the site?

Of course, I would love to be somewhere in the mix.

But strictly speaking layout, I think it should have a rainforest approach, simlilar to the current layout yet more fresh, appealing and nature orientated. Not exactly green, maybe a water theme.

I think the users should have a forum where they vote for "JP moment of the week" and then a forum to discuss this. Makes the site more nostalgic and brings back memories, i think anyway.

Great as it is, but i am intrigued to know how Jon can make it better. The polls and pictures sound great.

The design is now done and I'm happy to say I am truly pleased at its results.

Featuring:
- Character information (if you any information that you think it can be used, its based on the characters on board the helicopter in Jurassic Park... ie Grant, Malcolm, Ellie...)
- An exclusive content area (user reg requred, trying to route it so it coinsides with the forum)... featuring a load of videos, wallpapers and other things made by users.
- Sections updated and to be coded to allow user commenting using the reg feature from the exclusive's area. you as a user will have the option to turn it on and off.
- Each will have a section of support the community featuring ads of jp sites or promotions.. ie the Operation Genesis soundtrack by dinosaur_neill. that can be turned off as well, if i decide to code it /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
- just the normal array of sitewide updates in content and other misc features. go figure.
