Why would they think birds evolved from dinos? they praticly the first bird looked very different from present birds. And the first real close skeleton of a bird is in the end of the ice age. They practicly lived 9million years apart!

my god are you 5 years old no wait a 5 year old would have the sense not to talk about stuff he didn't understand birds came from dinos most likely because have been around since the cretaceous at least as definite birds however archeopterex (pardon my spelling) was from the jurassic I believe and shared many traits with both birds and small predatory dinosaurs

Yeah! Read almost any present day dinosaur book and you see pictures or words on birds in it!

Thanks lilgamefreek for backing me up on this stuff and like you said this stuff is everywhere, so how you can miss it I don't know but spinosaur read something actually about dinos soon and you'll see what you mean even read WALKING WITH DINOSAURS book and it says that birds came from dinos. Why do you think birds are called avian dinosaurs and normal dinos are called non-avian dinosaurs it's because birds are dinos who fly easy as that.

yess... but the bird in the jurassic era it didnt have the right components of the present day birds... oh and also, if birds evolved from dinos, why are they smaller than normal? only at least a compsognathus would have been as small as that. Wait, in the future birds might become as big as dinos again, then that will be the bad times...

Why is it that we have no hair on are bodies but still are apes? Why is it that monkeies have tails? Why does size matter? You don't judge evolutionary links by size but similarities in skeletol structure, physical similarities, dna similarities, etc. size is not a factor unless the two camparies are in a close proximity together in time.

What components are those? Ratites aren't able to fly... are they therefore not birds?

MANY dinosaurs (especially those from which birds descended) were small, so this point is moot.

Spinosaursus, please stop making those pointless comments, they don't make sense and you know it!
