Raptors and rex are awesome. I don't it though. What is wrong with spinosaurus? So they over exagerated ALOT i still like spino. But Raptors are and always will be the best.

Two things.. Seeing that it was a large carnivore, it couldn't compete with the other carnivores produced on the islands and died off. Either that, or it was never successfuly fertilized and hatched.

Or it was simply not shown. The tour never finished, and the entire island was never seen. Perhaps the Metriacanthosaurs and Stegosaurs and all the other embryos that weren't seen fully-grown in the film were on another part of the island. It's not like Grant & the kids made sure to finish the tour before returning to the visitors' center.

Same thing with Lost World & JP3. Not every animal bred was shown because they may have been living elsewhere on the island. Why were the Spinosaurus & Ceratosaurus absent from Lost World? Why were the Pachycephalosaurs & Mamenchisaurs absent from JP3? Different territories.

The Carnotaurus in Lost World had the ability to alter its skin colour like a chameleon. There's no proof they could do this in real life, though.
