Jurassic Park db forum

We've recieved caught wind of some very interest Jurassic Park IV news from one of our forum moderators and webmaster of Trike10's Jurassic Park 4 Page, Trike 10. Basically, here's the text from his site:

"The past 10 days I have been vacationing in Kauai, a JP backdrop favorite. Then one day I decide to take a helicopter tour and see the whole island and also getting the scoop on some of the movies filmed here. Halfway through the tour we cross the Waimea Canyon near the range and the pilot mentions that JP 4 will be filming here in 1-2 months and in fact this past weekend some crew have toured the island to scope out the movies new backdrop. Then about 5 minutes later I look down near a mountain range and i see about a dozen figures with 2 jeeps and this huge trailer that had the JP logo as a mural on the roof. Now this isnt legit news, but it does point to the doors that this movie is a nearing filming"

Interesting connotations if this is true. Not only does that mean Jurassic Park 4 is going ahead, but is scheduled to go ahead VERY soon! Of course, this is mere speculation at the moment, but still intriguing nonetheless.

I have to say this is some very interesting news, i'm not talking just about this news article by istelf, it's just strange that a past article that recently came out this month stating that filming was being planned and then this is also news (during the same month) stating that filming is being planned. Somethings definetly going on, maybe the film is going to pick up soon, and maybe that announcement coming soon will mention that filming is set to start? We can only wait to see if any of this is true. This might be garbage but it might very well be legit.

Why would they paint the JP logo on the roof of a trailer if they're trying to keep this movie's status in such a shroud of mystery? To excite the potential remote overhead helicopter tourist/fan? Seems fishy to me...

Then again, hell, I'm so desperate for this movie, any news is good.

I have this feeling that they already signed a director onto the project but have been keeping it very secretive, I also think that 'The script is almost done' was just a clever little ploy to make the fans think that it wasn't even close to finishing but there already doing princaple photography on locations or something to that extent. Maybe this'll be a part of the big announcement? Who knows at this point, anything can be going on, but if thats the case that it was a little trick, then I have to say that they were VERY clever. Like I said, anything can be going on at this point and none of us would know about it.

They have taken their time for an extra year. Now it's just a matter of how they execute this thing.
