The link below is from a wargaming site I hang out in.
(I'm the hunter of souls there)
Oddiz is a deeply relgious nut job intent on proving that evolution is a lie
and that the bible is the only truth there is about our origins.

Why this guy is on a fourm for Scifi/fantasy gaming I have no clue.
But read it for yourself.
I wanna hear what you think.

Some assholes in the US government are trying to pass something that will not allow teachers to teach the theory of evolution. I heard this on the news, and to say the least I was a little bewildered. Thought we settled this decades ago.

I think people should decide on there own what religion they follow. I don't think evolution should be taught in school and neither should creationism. My parents never exposed me to any religious ideas and I chose the path that seemed more reasonable.
When people say that evolution has too many holes in it, it is in a way an unfair proposition. Religion relies on faith. Faith is a very powerful force. With religion you can fill a hole with anything that sounds reasonable since there is no way to prove it and people listen and believe what is being preached. It's like if you have a pot hole in your driveway. You may want to fill it with yogurt, but that won't work. It would be like saying the reason david killed goliath was able to kill goliath was because he had a death ray. Or you can choose to fill is with bricks. That would be like saying David was gifted by god and had great strength. Yet with science you always have to repair that hole with cement and you live in a place that has a whole lot of cement pricing fluctuations.

The whole creation vs evolution debate isn't a "debate" anymore, its just monkies throwing turd at eachother. Both sides have become fanatical to the point where all the good arguements are lost, but I've also seen some very reasonable people on both sides too.
The whole thing is just something created by American boredom. Why do I say its a product of Americans? Because there is no conflict in other countries between creation and evolution. You go to Europe and tell a priest that evolution is real and he'll shrug his shoulders and say "There's nothing in the bible that says it can't be." Its only the uninformed bored fools that feel this is some subject worthy of even mentioning.
Sorry if I seem a little irrate, I'm really tired, and very very tired of this "battle" between the "sides," and especially tired of people trying to make cases out of their own, uninformed ideas that have no basis in the real world. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

You'd still have people babbling because that's the only way they can think, lol. No, most of the people who take harsh sides to things just need to shove it. All the people who are religous zealots and stuff like that need to broaden their horzons and stuff. It's just rediculous how terrible some people are about things.

The ironic thing is the religious zealots say we need to broaden are horizans. Who is correct?

And, most of them are speaking that everyone should become religious, like them. I'm saying that everyone needs to see and understand all points of view before making rash decisions.
