Significance of JP3 in JP4...
Now, I like cohesion and continuity in my JP movies. So, desPite all it's shortcomings, I figure JP3 had to be of some use to the saga. I'm sure many of you would like to just forget it ever happened, but that just wouldn't sit well. Why would they have gone through all that trouble just to make a halfassed sPinoff? So, I was thinking, what significance could have come from that story?

Here's an idea I've been entertaining for a few hours. I've heard some people comment about how JP4 might deal with DX or maybe some kind of fatal disease. Perhaps one that developed, maybe mutated in the dinosaurs that they've grown immune to, but was dangerous to humans. Well, I know this is a bit of a stretch (I'm no disease-ologist) but suppose Eric Kirby brought back something like this with him? It would have reached epidemic proportions, and scientists would have to study dinosaurs in order to cure it.

Or maybe something along those lines. I just don't want JP3 to be an utterly useless addition.
Scudworth: I first got the idea for Cloney Island after seeing the movie Jurassic Park 3! But my ill-concieved amusement park will be filled with human clones instead of zoo animals! It's as fool-proof as the amusement park in the movie it's self!
yea, im sorry but i think JP3 was utterly usless to the JP story but it was entertaining, i think the most recognition it will get will be:

a) Billy coming back for JP4
/cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> Alan mentioning it
c) it being a reason to eliminate dinos/bomb islands

It can continue with the idea that since there's been another incident, the US could take it out of COSTA RICAN'S hands and attempt to distroy the island and inhabitants.

That seems stupid, but likely. The Kirbys asked the US embassy for help, got turned down and took matters into their own hands. The same embassy that told them to accept the inevitable and probably would have left them for dead says that Costa Rica's being irresPonsible.
