This is for people like me who have read the books

Was it the original DNA manipulated Jurassic Park, the return of inGen in The Lost-World, or just the worth-wild running around frantically Jurassic Park III that captured your imagination.

I was finishing The Lost World when something clicked. In the first book Jurassic Park It is said that John Hammond, and Ian Malcom die on the island. Robert Muldon says that the "compys" got and were eatign John Hammond. OK soo. In the lost world Ian Malcom is there saing that he was in a hospital in San JOse for 6months. Also it says that the military picked him up off the isalnd. The Lost World also says the John Hammond after the distater publidhed a book about the history of InGen. OK but then that means he is still alive right? So how can he be eatin in one book and be a live in the next?

I'm not so sure about the John Hammond thing. You sure that's what it said? Can you quote a passage, or list a page number? It's acceptable that Malcolm made it into TLW, but we saw (read) John Hammond die in the first book.

Yeah John was chewed to death by the compys, he fell down a gully and was eaten. it was right at the end of the book.
When all is said and done and the world is empty how much does it really matter the amount of money you had or what car you drove?
