I've been giving this some serious thought over the last couple of weeks. Assuming all goes right on schedule, a few staff members and I have already started plotting out a possible convention. This would be a grand undertaking which will take years to complete. I would like to know from all the current visitors, whom might be interested in attending, to post their thoughts and ideas on what we should feature. Among all, who would be interested in attending?

Location is big one. What do you have in mind for events (basically what would we be doing)?

Ok, well anyways...

I personally would love to go.

People could bring there JP collections, toys, posters, memorbilila, ect...

Maybe get a star of the movie to show up for a short time to sign autographs...

I doubt the latter. However, I couldn't bring much memorbilia, all I have is one raptor figure, and I'm pretty sure I lost it.

If it's anywhere near Detroit, I'll go. I think that for you to even get a convention going you should attach it to a larger comic or sci-fi con, like Wizardworld. I think it would be way too hard to do a convention on your own, you need some kind of sponsorship. Find some way to make a Jurassic Park con a side-show to a bigger event. If you get that kind of support, you'll be able to draw a big crowd.
