My closing JPdb was and still is a money issue. It cost approx 400$ a year to host this site. I'm not rich, and my parents are always asking me if this site is still active to see if it’s worth the effort to still pay for the hosting.

I would help you with the money if I could. JPDB is more than worth the effort, there's no doubt about that. But I still don't understand, why's it so expensive?

Expensive? It's less than $35 a month. That isn't sh*t. I don't see why it's a big deal at all.

My site (GalacticBasic.net) is hosted for £20 ($37.64) a year. 'tis not the most reliable of hosts, but it's good enough for me. lol. Might not be up to the standards of JPdb though.
