Well, this's the only Jurassic Park - or any other story by Crichton, for that matter - masterpiece that I've read. From everything else I've read about it, it sounds to me like TLW movie is better than the novel, but I'd still like to read the novel. I'm not sure how many times I've read the first JP novel.
I also think they should come out with a JP3 novel, instead of the Junior Novelization, but oh well /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

InGen has risen from bankruptcy and Biosyn has bought them out... They've now came together to form a company called Biogen... And I am the Chief Executive Officer of BIOGEN!!!

I LOVED the novel! I read it in like four or five days. It was SOOO much better than the movie. And then I got the Lost World and I couldn't put it down! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

well, i saw the movie when it came out in '93(i was 4 years old) and it wasn't until i was a little older that i found out that it was based on a book. so then it wasn't until seventh grade, i got a book report assignment and saw that Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton was on the list. i told my friend about it and he beat me to the school library for the only copy there. my teacher said to either find another book or go to the public library for a copy. at that point i was really excited and determined to read it. so i got my copy and read it. every night i just couldn't put it down. i flew through it faster than any other book i've read(except one). it was that good. when the assignment was done i decided to read The Lost World as well. i read that almost as quick, except it was summer so it went a little slower. then the next year i thought they were so good, that i bought both of them. i wanted the hardcover copies so i had to go to Barnes and Noble to order them. i had to order Jurassic Park but they had The Lost World
i don't like to compare between the novels and movies, because they're very different

The book was so much better than the movie. Anyone who says otherwise outta be shot. =P jk. But seriously, the book pwned the movie big-time. Many times I wish they'd make the ENTIRE book into a movie... but that's only wishful thinking. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
The book gave more scientific details and such. Malcolm got to explain the choas theory a lot better too in the book. The one thing I liked the most about the book which they left out of the movie, was about how they knew the dinosaurs were breeding. The whole thing with the motion sensors in the park only counting the number they'd expected and all.
