What I dispise in the JP/// spinosaurus is its behaviour and coloration, the size I can handle, even tho I shouldn't, but hell, I could go along with it, I went with the raptors (even tho we could consider JP1 raptors as deinonychus, that way the size would be more feasible, oposing to the mutated croc with a sail)...
But pursuing tiny humans across a whole island, wasting valuable energy for such aperitives, jeopardising its safety by entering territory of other predators, having a cellphone ringing from its belly, being hit in the sail by a plane, yet the sail did not suffer any damage while the plane crashed, having a bite force superior to a Tyrannosaurus, surviving a tyrannosaurus' bite and being tossed around while the rex was biting its neck, wrecking a solid concrete fence just... is not logical... at all... at least to me...

Aww, more complaints about the spino. Okay, I get what you're saying. But the spino wasn't given a fair chance to be believable in JP3. The film-makers wanted to make it clear that the spino was a big, dumb monster. You also have to understand that JP3 was a half-assed movie, so they didn't really have time to think out how they wanted the spinosaurus to behave. If the spinosaurus is in JP4 and they focus on it being a keen hunter, then it will be much more intimidating.

You know, the spinosaurus isn't the only dinosaur that's been a little exaggerated in Jurassic Park. No one ever brings up that the T-Rex's foot steps could be heard from a long distance, but for some reason during the climax of Jurassic Park when the T-Rex attacks the raptors it is as quiet as a mouse. Or the fact that the Rex couldn't run 35 miles an hour. But they're movies, so I've come to accept that they're not going to be completely accurate. Besides, JP3 came out 4 years ago, it's time to get over it.

hearing t-rex's footstep and also the ripples in the puddle of water bought about a sense of suspense and horror and it was just great unlike the stupid things done my spino

It did make it suspenseful. But there's no way to explain how a 3-ton dinosaur, that can be heard a mile away, could sneak into a building without making a sound. That's just a plot hole. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="<_<" border="0" alt="dry.gif" />

HOw did the Rex get into that scene (final scene of defeating Raptors in JP1)...without being noticed?
I mean, surely Ellie, Alan and the Kids would have heard the wall come crashing down...? But they don't even see the Rex until it makes a surprise appearance of grabbing a Raptor...

There was a cutscene witht he rex bashing through the wall, IIRC, but they cuted it to increase suspence...

BTW, I wanna state that I LIKE Spinosaurus aegyptiacus, just not that freak of JP///.

All JP movies have plotholes, yet the noise trex made or made not is nothing compared to how they made Spinosaurus behave and look, as I have mentioned countless times (not so many times in this board, tho), it behaves as a monster, in fact, almost all dinos in JP/// behaved like that... which is another thing I hate, it goes against EVERYTHING Spielberg wanted (to make dinosaurs look like animals), yes, I am aware of many discrepances in the JP dinosaurs, yet none that made a fisher a top predator that could survive the most powerful set of jaws ever found in a land predator (if not the most powerful one of the most powerful)
