I'd quickly like to point out that after watching Spielberg's superb War Of The Worlds, the sound of those wierd-leg-things is just as haunting and similar to when we first heard a T-Rex roar.

I would say that the sound that the tripod robot creatures from "War of The Worlds" made reminds me more of "Close Encounters". But there are definitely plenty of similarities to Jurassic Park in WOTW. The most distinctive scene in the film that reminded me of JP was (SPOILERS!!) when the aliens were in the basement. That felt so much like the raptors in the kitchen sequence in Jurassic Park.

Of course, definetly. Except, for some reason the WOTW one seemed much more tense and frightning. But said that, I can't remember how I felt when I first saw the Raptors in the kitchen, it was far too long a time ago.pack raptor wrote:...The most distinctive scene in the film that reminded me of JP was (SPOILERS!!) when the aliens were in the basement.
