Here's some ideas what you can use for new scenes:

Levine examining his samples and finding out about the animals' complex chromatofor ability.

Levine having a chat with his students.

Quitierrez meets Benson and finds out that Dodgson has set to the island.

Here's where my ideas end, but you could use a scene where a government agent eavesdrops on Quitierrez/Benson conversation, this leading to the military sending a team to arrest Dodgson. How does that sound?
