Best thing that could happen would be if something JP or even dinosaur related came out. Other than that, I don't think any sort of promoting is gonna get anyone to come here heh

So you think there's still hope, NYGfan25? I dunno about you guys but I just log onto good ol' Yahoo! News to get my dino update fix whenever I need it. So I think its safe to say that, IMHO, the only thing that could rescuscitate (sp?) this place is JP4, which is why I started the thread "The First Storm: Jurassic Park" so I could vent out frustration from the wait by contemplating what could happen in JP4 (Assuming it will be released sometime this millenium).

If there is a confirmation that it will NEVER come, then at least by then we'll know that the series had a cult following well into the rather dysmal 21st century in which we live.

Universal will never officially come out and publically report that a film sequel won't be released. It's just not a practical thing to do. If the right script comes along, or it just so happens that Universal is ever in risk of bankruptcy, they'll jump on any franchise sequel they can get their hands on. So it's not a smart move to announce that a sequel will never be made, and go back on your word a few years later.

I've been hoping for a long time now, and I don't know if anythings ever going to happen. Maybe if a new JP game came out or something of the sort this place would get a kick start (for a short time at least...) but I'm not holding my breath.

I wish this board would get hopping though, it was fun talking to everyone.

Even when JPDb was the battleground of the Rex-fans and the Spino-fans, it had a sense of being populated, so to speak. I know trex kills spino was a retard but I always looked forward to what stupid things he'd say next and we would watch his antics, then burn him en masse. I wish I remember the game idea I pitched over a year ago in the games section "Jurassic Park: Hunters"; then again, it sort of wilted away and died like a lot of JPDb.

But let's not forget, we're fans of JURASSIC PARK!!! It's a movie about DINOSAURS!!! They cheated extinction and wreaked glorious havoc in the 90s with two stellar movies, a line of games, battalions of toys, and a cult following (something that continues to this day).

I wish they released Jurassic Park: Survivor and not Operation Genesis.

You didn't even really know everyone, hell I don't know a lot of the real ancient posters except by looking over some of the older posts.
