On July 1, 2009 we reestablished our free webmail service. The previous incarnation was severely flawed. As a result the previous webmail service was plagued with spammers and bots. That problem will not occur again. Starting today we have firmly secured a seat with Windows Live Mail to provide free email storage to the members of the Jurassic Park db!
For starters, you can create an @jpdatabase.com address with email storage that is 2 GB (2 gigabytes ~2048 megabytes), which for the most-part is dynamically increasing storage. If you require more space, Live Mail will allocate it according to your needs.
Well now, how do I create an account?
Only registered forum users can create an account. To create an @jpdatabase.com address, simply log into your Jurassic Park db forum account. Once you successfully log into your forum account, you will see “Webmail” across the main screen. Click the text, and that will bring you to a signup screen.

You can pick any username and password you like. It is recommended that you also fill in an alternate email address, just in case you require a password reset. We cannot reset passwords for users through email, though it might be possible through the Personal Messaging system.
Why do I keep getting the sign up screen after creating an account?
The link itself uses cookies to check if you have been to the site before. If you have, it will log you in automatically. If you cleared your cookies, you will be brought to the signup page. Simply navigate to http://mail.jpdatabase.com to login to your email account. Your username is the full email address, and the password you chose during signup.
