Heh. According to his profile he is 16. That's still a kid as far as I'm concerned. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Ehh... let me add my own perspective. First, I'm 12 (nearing 13). For the most part, I agree with you. I got lucky it seems, since my class tends to not spew immature "s**" talk, etc. (cant say the same for 5th grade). Generally, we talk a bit on IM about movies we have seen, games, etc. This is also the time when the crushes start being revealed, which makes an entertaining time for all /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> . Anyway, now for what I dont agree about... first TV. I say that about 95% of the channels on earth should be wiped away. That leaves a few gems like "The Simpsons", "Futurama", "Family Guy", and some truly imaginative kids cartoons like "Samurai Jack", "Dexter's Lab, and, of course, "Spongebob Squarepants". Video games. Like TV, most of it is crap. As a gaming freak, and have subscriptions to every magazine I can get, and yes, most games are terrible. Grand Theft Auto is designed for a far more mature audience, and so far I haven't played it. But there is a growing trend of originality for it. Well, thats my two cents. P.S.: Parents, for very fun, but non corruptive games, check out these; Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Spiderman 2, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Mario Sunshine, Beowulf, Paper Mario, Pikmin, and the Lord of the Rings games.

I stopped reading your post after you said we should keep "Spongebob Squarepants".

Fortunately I closed my eyes and skipped that part.

I think that any parents here don't need your advice on what video games they give to their chillins.

Anyway, you are 12 and you watch Adult Swim? Isn't the warning 14+?

Oh yeah, we all know how much any ratings system is enforced.
