I’m astounded at the morality of kids these days. My little brother just had about 10 friends over aging from 12 – 14 or so. I’ve never heard so much vulgarity from little kits in my life. Hell, my own brother goes to me, “No wonder I ........ hate you.” Because I told him and his friends to back away from the one computer in the basement. Then the girls on their cell phones; every 3 minutes. “Well, she gave you a ........ blowjob and you let her? You are one stupid ........ ........ you have a hoe! – ........ he just hung up on me!”
Seriously, no manners. When did the new generation of teens become so polluted with filth like this?
Even more so later on, they were talking about all the guys or girls they had s** with. Nice to know my own brother lost his virginity before I have yet to do so. Is it me that’s ugly and cant find a girl who I wish to share that with or what?
My mother even overheard it and she was like, “it’s widely accepted today among teens.”
What kind of bullshit if this? Am I alone in thinking this is wrong?
Teens today.

No it is wrong, the new generation are punks, not all but many. My own cousin turned that way as well, he was a good kid until he hit 8th grade and started hanging around the wrong group, now he's doing drugs, drinking and his parents have no control over him and he's just 14. It's quite sad... I even went to talk to his parents about it but no use, so in this case it's partly the parents fault for not taking the initiative as well.
Many kids lack the responsibility and respect for themselves and others but in the long run it's from that lack--which will hinder them later. Whether they get AIDS or pregnant before they're ready due to being careless or even missing the social skills to attain/keep a job.

When you gotta go, you gotta go...
I think everyones just trying to be like the older crowd. My bro always tries to hang out w/me and the other 16 year olds and up. They are a messed up generation heh
They will learn the hard way

Hey, I'm 17 and I don't fit this generalization of the "rebellious brat" teen. I've never drank, never smoked, never experimented with drugs of any sort, or cussed out my parents. You know why? It's because my parents put the fear of god in me. When I was little and I tried crap like talking back to my parents, I would get the belt as punishment. I know what you're talking about when you said that alot of the kids were shouting obscenities left and right , because that happens alot at the high school I go to, but it's mostly freshmens and sophomores who curse all the time for no reason.(I call it the freshmen cursing phase) But the Juniors and Seniors are more mature than that, so we don't swear as much. I was in alot of classes full of freshmen and sophomores, and I felt like I was 30 years old, in a class full of 12 year olds.
Anyways, I think that the main reason that some teens act so ... rude, is because they weren't well disciplined by their parents. That's a problem that I think is often over looked, everyone in the media wants to say "Oh look how horrible kids are these days, with their pre-marital s**, gang banging, and crack smoking!" but they never consider the fact that the parents are a significant factor in why a person is the way they are. Yes you should be held accountable for your actions, but your peers and family help to mold you.

yes, very well said.
But if you look at my little sister (9) and me (19), 10 years apart and shes more mature than my brother (14). My parents raised us all the same and nothing more different. Sure i was the "test" child since I was the first but they learned as I got old and more mature and they think I turned out fine. A little to skinny because of my lack to work out. But they also saw with me in track, it changed me... now they have my sister in softball but my brother refuses to play anything but basketball. He didnt make the team so he doesnt even attempt to play anything else. He called me gay several times because of my 4 years in track and cross country.
Now, we just had dinner. He insulted me. My mother told him to apologize to him and hes like: "why the ........ do you baby this cocksucker!" got up and walked upstairs. My grandmother was like "I never." Right now hes in his room doing i dunno what. Oh well.

It's just the choices people make. Eventually those people will ........ up themselves so bad they'll end up dead; natural selection.
My parents never had to put the "fear of god" in me, I made my own choices and came up with my own system of morals and ethics and I turned out fine. Most importantly, I took responsibility for what I did.
That's why people are in such bad shape today, blaming it on someone else, "My parents didn't try hard enough," "I'm going to sue ______ because they ______ to me," "The media is responsible for ______."
If only people would take responibility then society would be better off. People know what is right and what is wrong, they just choose to not take responsibility for it and pass the blame.

"Do you have a flag?"
I think it's because many parents aren't paying any attention to where their kids go, what they do, or who they're with anymore. I don't know when parents totally lost control of their kids, but they need to wake up and take control, NOW.
And it's not necessarily about "putting the fear of God" into your kids (although I do think it's OK to give a kid a good swat on the butt as a punishment), it's providing them with a strong moral background to help them when their parents aren't around. Parents aren't spending time with their kids anymore. Now, call me anti-feminist or whatever, but I support the whole stay at home mom thing. Maybe if we had more moms (or even dads) staying at home with their kids, teaching them what's right and wrong, keeping track of what they're up to, we wouldn't have such messed up kids. My mother quit working as soon as I was born and never went back. She currently has two daughters who are straight A students and have never done drugs or had s**, etc, etc, etc.
Overall, I think most parents just need to get their heads out of their butts and start putting their kids ahead of themselves. I've got this piece of trash cousin who just got her FOURTH divorce and is living with a fifth guy. She marries these guys just long enough for them to buy her a new house or car and maybe get her pregnant, then she finds some false fault in them and divorces them. She's got two kids who she shoves off on her parents all the time and never spends any time with. The oldest one barely passed this school year, and I think he may be into drugs. Just when he has time to get close to his new stepfather and step-siblings, his mother gets another divorce. She has never thought about her son's needs during all this, she's only concerned with what SHE wants. And it's parents just like her that are causing the majority of these problems with today's teens.
Okay. I'm done.
