Yeah, it's an alternative to blowing them away from the Ranger Copter. Use it when they're rampaging or there's a twister. And unless I'm mistaken it won't upset the tourists as much as shooting them does.

People in the park doesn't care about "lethal gene", they probably think they die from old age.

Personally, I "euthenize" all my dinos, rather than have the visitors get upset about "cruelty to the animals. I also like that its a spin-off of the lysine contingency plan touched on in the original movie - adds a sense of nostalgia to the game.

I've only used it once, and that was by mistake; I was trying to revive a Dryosaurus that was stupid enough to let its health get down to "Poor" (had plenty of water & food, lots of running room, no predators in the pen, yet it was too stupid to fend for itself, how sad), and my thumb slipped and I ended up executing the Lethal Gene instead of calling for a Revive shot.

But yeah, I usually don't ever kill my animals...if one breaks out, I tranqulize it, fix the pen, and move it back in.

"Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the man, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Arise, O Lord; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in Thy sight. I shall purify all with a single blow. Mine enemies stand before mine eyes. Who shall mourn for Division XIII? Who shall mourn for the Vatican?"
