Anybody else hear about this movie. Its scheduled for release in August of next year, around the same time Alien vs Predator comes out. Its based a a Ray Bradbury story of people from the future who travel back in time to hunt dinosaurs. Yet, some stupid soul kills a butterfly, wich bigins a chain raection that threatens to eventually replace they're future world with dinosaurs. So we don't have to go a full year with no dinosaur movies. 2005 we're gonna have both Jurassic Park 4 & King Kong. Also as a side note, They are gonna be releasing the original Raymond Burr-less Godzilla to theaters next summer.
I read Bradbury's story when it was still rather fresh, and saw the adaptation on his TV series when it was new.
Try to catch it on late-night cable (Tivo'd). It will still be satisfying to young and new viewers.
Originally, the mis-stepping travelers return to their time, and it has been transformed into a Totalitarian nightmare.
Bradbury also penned a young-reader's spin-off titled "Dinosaur Planet". (Why does that sound familiar?) In that novella some young adventurers are transported to a world ruled by prescient and pre-technological troodontids. Sounds like the movie is blending the two writings.
