Did any here see the dinosaur planet on dicovery channel? It was on velociraptor,
"White-Tip" And befor i get into the rex, i wanted to say the Jurassic Park moives OR COMPLETLY OFF on the raptors, they did horrible on them.
Why? Beacuse the REAL raptor is half the size of the one in JP
And they had feathers! ( i love there feathers! )

To tell you the truth i love ALL jp moives, but there parts i dont like.
On dinosaur planet they have some.... um... deysoemcls (Wrong) Its realted to the Rex, (before) and thoes deysoecls hunted in a family group ( soon they join packs) and what do you think? i like the thing of Rexs Hunting in packs.
Tyrannosaurus Rex Is Not A Scavenger
The Velociraptor thing is old news. The JP crew based their Raptors on another member of that group: Deinonychus antirrhopus, as it was larger (and ultimately more terrifying). A point should also be made that the Raptors in the films were designed well before it became a commonly-held belief that Dromaeosaurids/Deinonychosaurids (whatever the blasted group is called these days /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> ) had coatings of feathers/protofeathers.
Anyway, the animals in the second episode were called Daspletosaurus torosus, and in case you missed it, the paleontological consultant that would pop in from time to time actually said that they have no concrete proof that Tyrannosaurids hunted/lived in groups. However, given that there have been multiple fossil finds of T.rex's relatives (Albertosaurus sarcophagus, the aforementioned D.torosus, etc.) where the animals were buried in groups, there's strong evidence that they, at least, may have been more social animals (there have been no such finds of T.rex, which suggests it may have been more solitary).

Well, hunting together or not, Tyrannosaurus Rex could've clearly held his/her own if they where solitary or in a pack. Tyrannosaurus Rex hunting in a pack would've been an almost unstoppable train, considering that in the felid family, or cat family, lions and tigers are similar in size with the Siberian Tiger being more heavily built and much larger than an African Lion, it's also a solitary hunter.
Maybe T-Rex being the biggest boy in the block, it didn't need to be in a pack, with the much smaller Tyrannosaurids hunting in packs, but I still believe that T-Rex could've been a pack hunter as well too, the possiblities are their, I hope sometime in the near future, we can find a group of T-Rexes together, that would prove something right away /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Maybe the young adults were the hunters and they simply chased the prey into the jaws of the adult. Or maybe the T-Rex had saliva like the Komodo Dragon and all it needed to do was take one bite & let the bacteria do the rest. The Rex could then use its excellant sense of smell to track down its prey. If that was the case then the T-Rex didn't have to be a fast runner.
