Director by "Next Year"

From an interview with producer Frank Marshall from http://www.yourmovies.com.au/news/?action=news&i=83119:

"yM: Can you tell us about your upcoming projects?

FM: My next project is going to be "The Bourne Ultimatum", which is the third in the series of Jason Bourne movies. We're gonna start shooting that in August. Then we have the ever-present "Indiana Jones 4". We're still working on the script, we want it to be great, and I suspect we're probably going to be shooting that next year. "Jurassic Park IV" is the same case, we're working on the script and hope to have a director on that by next year. My next project as a director will be the Lance Armstrong story called "It's Not About the Bike" based on his book, and we hope to start that next Spring."

Again, nothing's changed, I guess.

Hmm..I guess what we can gather by this is that they may not start filming until next year...

But you're right, nothing new..

At least we know it's still happening.

I'd love to see the script for JP IV, though I know some people who have connections here and there, when I talk to them I'll see if I can get anything on JP IV...if they even know anyone from Universal...

Even if you're best friends with John Sayles or whoever is writing it now, I seriously doubt that you will ever see the script before they even start production.

Well, I don't know any big wigs, but I have my resources...but as I said, I don't know if they can snatch a copy or not.

Probably, though I've heard some gossip from my friend, which they told me they aren't for sure either, but that the writer is on page 50 of the script or something. As I said, I'm not trying to sound like one of these nuts who say "Yeah my ant's cousin's nephew works bla bla bla" As I said, don't even know if it's true or not...just hear say, like all the other news thats floating about.
